APPOINTMENT OF EXECUTIVE TECHNICAL MANAGER
Mvela Resources is pleased to announce the appointment of Sipho Mofokeng as
Executive Technical Manager, with effect from 1 March 2007. Sipho will be
responsible for all of Mvela Resources` exploration activities and programmes
and will form part of the team evaluating new acquisitions.
Sipho qualified with a Master of Science in Geology (MSc) with distinction, from
the University of Cape Town in 1999 and gained extensive field and corporate
experience with De Beers between 1996 and 2007. Most recently, Sipho was
appointed as De Beers` Regional Exploration Manager, Southern Africa, where his
responsibilities were to formulate and direct De Beers` exploration programmes
for the entire Southern African region. Sipho represented De Beers as a
director of Ndowana Exploration (Pty) Ltd, its exploration joint venture with
Mvela Resources and acted as a director of De Beers Prospecting Botswana between
November 2006 and February 2007.

Trans Hex and others and realising the value in these and other exploration
