FTSE/JSE Africa Index Series - Quarterly Review March 2007

The FTSE/JSE Advisory Committee met today (7 March 2007) to approve the
quarterly changes to the FTSE/JSE Index series. All constituent, sector,
free float and shares in issue changes will be applied after the close of
business on Friday, 16 March 2007 and will be effective on Monday, 19 March
2007.
As per the decision from the December Advisory Committee meeting, to
gradually increase the free float percentage of Lonmin, The FTSE/JSE
Advisory Committee agreed to increase the free float percentage of Lonmin
plc to 10% after the close of business on Friday, 16 March 2007 and will be
effective on Monday, 19 March 2007.
A decision will be taken at the June Advisory Committee meeting whether a
further increase is practical.
