DECLARED SPECIAL DIVIDEND ANNOUNCEMENT ON BARLOWORLD LIMITED ENHANCED DIVIDEND
SECURITIES - ("BAWIDC")
With reference to the dividend announcement dated 8 March 2007, the Directors of
Barloworld Limited have declared a special dividend of 500 cents per ordinary
share payable on Monday, 2 April 2007 to ordinary shareholders recorded in the
books of the company at the close of business on Friday, 30 March 2007.
Accordingly, the warrant holders of the Enhanced Dividend Securities, BAWIDC,
will receive a Barloworld Limited special dividend of 500 cents per security on
Monday, 2 April 2007, in terms of the Cession clause incorporated in the
Supplement between the holders and Investec Bank Limited. The last day to trade
("cum" the dividend) in order to participate in the dividend will be Friday, 23
March 2007.
BAWIDC Enhanced Dividend Securities will commence trading "ex" the dividend from
the commencement of business on Monday, 26 March 2007, and the record date will
be Friday, 30 March 2007.
