DECLARATION OF ORDINARY DIVIDEND NO 57
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that a final ordinary dividend of 40 cents per ordinary
share (the equivalent of 1000 cents per share before the subdivision) has been
declared in respect of the year ended 31 December 2006. The last date to trade
cum dividend will be Wednesday 4 April 2007. Trading will commence ex dividend
from Thursday 5 April 2007 and the record date will be Friday 13 April 2007. The
date of payment will be Monday 16 April 2007.
Shareholders are advised that from 5 March 2007 Metair shares were subdivided 25
times.
Share certificates may not be dematerialised or rematerialised between Thursday
5 April 2007 and Friday 13 April 2007, both days inclusive.
The audited consolidated profit before taxation of the company and its
subsidiaries for the year ended 31 December 2006 amounts to R324 931 000 from
which source this dividend will be fully funded.
