RENEWAL OF CAUTIONARY ANNOUNCEMENT
Further to the cautionary announcement dated 24 August 2006 and the renewal
announcements dated 3 October 2006, 14 November 2006, 22 December 2006 and 2
February 2007, shareholders are hereby advised that Aveng and Holcim Limited
(Switzerland) ("Holcim") are still engaged in discussions regarding the proposed
BEE transaction in Holcim (South Africa) (Proprietary) Limited which was
announced by Holcim on 23 August 2006.
Accordingly, shareholders are advised to continue exercising caution when
dealing in Aveng`s securities until a further announcement is made.
