FTSE/JSE Africa Index Series
22 March 2007
Following the approval of the Scheme of Arrangement for Newshelf 809 (South
Africa non-constituent) to acquire Consol (South Africa constituent) and
notification from the Stock Exchange, FTSE and the JSE announces the following
changes:

deleted from the index.

investability weighting of 100%.
FTSE/JSE Africa Small Cap JSE will be deleted from the 26 March 2007
(J202) index.
FTSE/JSE Africa All Share Consol will be treated as above. 26 March 2007

FTSE/JSE Africa Financial Consol will be treated as above. 26 March 2007
