Income Statement Items
Wrk Revenue: Working Revenue. This is the income from primary mining activities.
Balance Sheet Items
Mining Assets: Mining equipment. Some mining companies include consumable stores in this figure.
Minding Model Ratios
Ret on Tot Ass: Return on Total Assets. This gives an indication of the sustainable return on the revenue generating assets of the company.

Yield (g/ton): Yield in grams per ton
On average, the number of grams of gold output by the smelters divided into the number of tons milled – as reported by the company. Shows the recovery of gold from the ore body.
Tons Mll (‘000): Tons milled (in thousands of tons)
The number of tons of gold bearing material processed. This includes underground ore, surface stockpile, slimes dam, and mine dump recovery – as reported by the company.
Output (kg): Output in kilograms
Kilograms of gold produced – as reported by the company. This is equivalent to the Yield multiplied by Tons Milled.
Price Received: Price Received per kilogram
Rand price received per kilogram (or dollar price received per ounce) of gold sold – as reported by the company. This is not necessarily in relation to the spot gold price as some mines have hedging programmes in place.
WrkCost(R/kg): Working cost in rand per kilogram or dollars per ounce
Costs incurred in mining in rand per kilogram of gold produced – as reported by the company.
