    Wesizwe - temporary suspension of operations
    Bokubung Platinum Mine temporarily suspended operations from 31 July 2026 due to health, safety, and security concerns following employee feedback and ongoing Section 189A consultations. Essential services will continue to maintain safety, security, and environmental compliance. The suspension will remain until management deems it safe to resume, considering the progress of consultations. The company remains committed to constructive engagement with trade unions and will provide further updates as appropriate.
