    Wesizwe - operational update
    The Bakubung Platinum Mine has announced plans to resume operations during the week starting 29 June 2026, following a temporary shutdown for Section 189 consultations and stakeholder engagement. The phased restart will prioritise health and safety, legal compliance, and the safe recommissioning of mining activities. Initial steps include medical screening, inductions, statutory inspections, and infrastructure recommissioning. The company is negotiating a memorandum of agreement with trade unions and employee representatives. Shareholders will be kept informed of further material developments.
