    Sappi - leverage covenant relief extension
    Sappi Ltd. has extended the suspension of its leverage covenant testing for its international revolving credit facility and bank term debt to June 2027. The existing covenant suspension, originally due to expire in March 2027, has been successfully negotiated with its banking group. New leverage covenant levels have been agreed upon, gradually decreasing over time, providing Sappi with sufficient flexibility until December 2027. The company will continue engaging with its lenders regarding covenant arrangements beyond this period. This extension supports Sappi’s operational and strategic goals while maintaining a strong relationship with its lenders.
