Capitec - quarterly Pillar 3 disclosure
Capitec Bank Ltd. ("Capitec Bank") has disclosed its quarterly Pillar 3 capital, liquidity, and leverage ratios for the third quarter ending 28 February 2026. The group’s Common Equity Tier 1 (CET1) capital stood at R47.33 billion, with a CET1 ratio of 33.5%, above the regulatory requirement of 12%. The total regulatory capital was R48.38 billion, representing 34.2% of risk-weighted assets. The Liquidity Coverage Ratio (LCR) was 2 764%, and the Net Stable Funding Ratio (NSFR) was 231.6%, both well above the 100% minimum. The leverage ratio was 20.3%.
