    Goldrush - Ithuba’s urgent application dismissed
    Goldrush Holdings Ltd. ("Goldrush") shareholders were informed that the court dismissed Ithuba Lottery (RF) (Pty) Ltd.'s ("Ithuba") urgent application to halt the award of the Fourth National Lottery Licence ("Licence") to Sizekhaya Holdings (RF) (Pty) Ltd. ("Sizekhaya"). The Licence, starting 1 June 2026, was challenged by two bidders. Ithuba alleged irregularities in the award process, but the court ruled against them on 27 November 2025, ordering Ithuba to pay costs. The review of the award is expected to be heard in 2026, and shareholders will be updated accordingly.
