SSU - termination of proposed transaction
Southern Sun terminated its proposed transaction to acquire a 50% undivided share in certain Sandton Consortium Properties, including Sandton Sun, Sandton Towers, Garden Court Sandton City, and the Sandton Convention Centre, from Liberty Group Ltd. This follows Pareto Limited’s exercise of its pre-emptive right, leading to the end of negotiations. The company’s decision was announced on 3 February 2026, and the termination was communicated on 9 March 2026.
